Black, Swing and Pedal bin bags are degradable and when exposed to heat, light or landfill conditions, they break down completely into water, CO² and a small amount of biomass - a process that takes around 18 months. This process leaves no toxic residue, and emits no methane. Food and Dog waste bags are compostable and made from cornstarch that naturally degrades and are suitable for food waste collection schemes.
